The Story

My personal introduction to the 4th Industrial Revolution began in 2016. I was part of a trade delegation from Michigan invited to attend the Hannover Trade Fair in Germany. I was awestruck by the technology on display. But, more importantly, I was both inspired and alarmened by the potential ramifications for digital disruption of manufacturing processes and threats to the competitiveness of US manufacturing organizations that chose not to pursue their own journey through the 4th Industrial Revolution.

I returned to the US and have spent the last 8 years advising manufacturers on what Industry 4.0 is, why it is important, and how to get started on their journey. i4iQ is my attempt to educate others on this topic and to offer advice and guidance to those organizations who can benefit from a compass to help guide them along their Industry 4.0 Journey.

The Team

i4iQ has been many years in the making, with considerable input and guidance from a number of advisors (and friends) who continue to generously contribute their time, expertise and feedback over coffee, lunch and the occasional beer. I am forever grateful to Brian, Dave who John who have kept me going with their enthusiasm and encouragement
